The Choice of Uncertainty

‘The Choice of Uncertainty’ is my most recent fiction book and it has just recently been published. I have revealed my book only today to the public. I wish to launch my new book at a book launch very soon.

‘The Choice of Uncertainty’ is a story based on a collection of narratives on the lives of the unfortunate who we have helped through our charity, the Al Hajj Abdul Matin Welfare Trust. As a co founder of the Al Hajj Abdul Matin Welfare Trust, I have been inspired by the charity work to write this story.

The story is based on a young girl growing up in a remote village in Bangladesh. She loses her father prematurely to the Dengue fever and her mother to another man and the loss and grieve only gets worse for her. The desire to become a doctor is ignited within her but her circumstances do not allow her to fulfil this wish. However, a mysterious generous donor pays for all her school and college fees, but she is oblivious to it, until her grandmother reveals the truth on her death bed. Her grandmother also has a dying wish, the character must sacrifice her youth in exchange of completing her dream. The character makes this difficult decision, only to find herself grieving again. Will the character eventually find happiness?

The aim of my book is to kindle the empathy within its reader and to allow the reader to feel the sorrow and hardship of people like my character.

It is through the Al Hajj Abdul Matin Welfare Trust we are able to provide for people like our character with food, clean water, an education, a decent home, a means to an income and the means to marry.
